Ben Runyan

Ben Runyan is the face of J U S T P R O C E S S, an EDM music producer in Philadelphia.

Previously, Ben lead the Philadelphia electronic pop group City Rain. As a band, City Rain experienced acclaim for the cinematic music video for their first single, “The Optimist,” which in 2013 landed on VEVO’s Indie Playlist garnering over 250,000 hits.

As of March 2017, Ben is working on a new record with featuring vocalists (under the alias “J U S T P R O C E S S”). This production name is his foray into the EDM/Pop scene. Ben began work on his upcoming record under the pseudonym in October 2016 writing songs for the female voice, drawing influences from the likes of Jack U, DJ Snake, Mike Posner and Above & Beyond.

Ben is currently an adjunct professor of music technology at both Drexel University in Philadelphia and Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. He is an Apple certified Logic Pro X instructor and also teaches Ableton Live.
